About the Work ...
My journey with photography began as a young girl, but it took on deeper meaning after my mother’s passing. Her reluctance to be photographed left me with only a handful of images, instilling in me a profound appreciation for preserving moments. The idea of capturing time and holding it forever has fascinated me ever since. In college, I discovered a talent for this art, and my camera has been my companion ever since.
I specialize in archival compositions for families and couples, alongside still life work and landscape field studies that reflect quiet observation of place, light, and time.
My portraiture reflects a documentary style, focusing on the small yet meaningful moments that often go unnoticed. I aim to create images that feel like works of art—pieces you’ll be proud to display in your home.
My still life photography is an exploration of the interplay between light and shadow, life and death. This balance often gives my work a subdued, minimalist quality, reflecting the delicate connection between these opposing forces.
Alongside my portrait and still life work, I have developed a deep connection to landscape photography, particularly within the national parks. These vast, quiet spaces were where I first learned how to truly see and compose an image—how to understand light, scale, and stillness in a way that shaped my eye as an artist. They continue to influence everything I create, grounding my work in a sense of place, patience, and observation.
Through my art, I hope to capture moments that resonate deeply and leave a lasting impression.
I hope you enjoy.
